2 things: I adopted an adult red eared slider that was a rescue and in really bad shape- they kept her in a back room- she's a very big old girl, and so I'm curious how "rescue animals" (specifically water turtles) are kept in the back. Was she in a larger tank? She was definitely abused by a previous owner, kept in a tank too small and overfed (her shell is all overgrown but in a way that shows her tank inhibited growth). How do you keep adult turtles in the back? Are they in a group pool or like a large tank?
Second question... and you might not really be the best to ask... but if I bring my cat in to the groomer at one of your stores... will they groom it? He's shedding like crazy and I feel like at this point, it may be an ok time to try the lion hair cut so he's less hot. Will they groom a cat?

My Uncle (and grandfather) are both Urologists... and they used to drink too much on a summer's night at the cabin and tell jokes we young ones shouldn't hear... and apparently telling said very inappropriate-for-children's-ears jokes is common around the operating table. Here's my question, is this dirty joke while operating a urologist thing or maybe just like a "surgeon focus" technique specific to my hilarious uncle? If it isn't like... a "thing" (shhh I won't tell if it is) what do you do to entertain yourself/lighten the mood/focus/stay awake during long surgeries?

This is a serious question. I often fly for extended stays cross-country. I put my turtle in a box and put him in my suitcase. I've done this a dozen times at least over several years. Turtle is fine and I don't have to UPS him. Anyways- do you have any idea what would happen were you guys to discover my stowaway turtle? Do you confiscate him? Am I pulled aside as some sort of turtle terrorist? I am sure I'm taking -some sort- of risk doing this... but what exactly?
