Are you aware of any evidence that auditory brainwave entrainment might result in an irregular heartbeat (not necessarily the medical definition of irregular, but clustering of skipped beats)?

The only reason I ask is because of my personal experience with a service called Brain. fm. It seems to work fantastically well for inducing either focused or relaxed states - as advertised. However, after prolonged use (45 min/day, few days in a row) I notice the skipping. Not the typical, once in a while that everyone experiences, but multiple instances inside of each hour for days at a time. They subside after ceasing the entrainment routine. This is all anecdotal, of course, which is why my query to you was so open-ended.

Edit: Not seeking medical advice. Thanks for any concern, though.

Just a website - literally, www.brain.fm - and iOS application that offers audio entrainment in clips ranging from 15 min. to, I believe, a couple hours. They claim to be in possession of magical algorithms that produce "music" designed to induce a particular brainwave pattern, which will then bring you to the desired state of being - focused, relaxed, or sleeping. The focused and relaxed offerings seemed to work very well for me.

I've been. My heart's fine, and this isn't some ongoing issue. I haven't used the entrainment for about a year and haven't had symptoms, either. Thanks for your concern. I'm not seeking medical advice, just curious about the nature of the phenomenon.
