I work in a call center for a wireless carrier.

Can you sales people please stop blatantly disregarding policies for a fucking sale?

Your interactions aren't videotaped and played back and nitpicked. There isn't a group of people constantly watching you and walking you out the door the second they see you slip. That's why people in the call center are so by-the-book. We are monitored and will be walked out for half of the shit you guys pull.

Then the customer gets us on the phone and expects us to do the same thing and we get treated like shit because we're following policy. We don't have the luxury of doing whatever we want.

If you don't have the balls to tell people "no" face-to-face then find another job. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten shit on because stupid sales reps pull the most retarded stunts to meet their quotas
