As much as I believe that Christianity has had its errors in the past, moving forward as a society is more about fixing those errors and changing to make sure they don't happen again. Organized religion is a good thing for many people, even if you disagree. Merry Christmas and may you live a blessed life!

Engineer here, I'm sorry that you feel that way. I will agree that religion has scarred many people and cultures. At the base of it all, we know a very tiny amount of our known universe. We know nothing about our existence. We each try and find a way that makes us feel like we know. But that doesn't mean that religion needs to die or be erased, there are many religions that are very accepting of science. That's just the movement that is needed in the USA. Like I said before Merry Christmas and live a blessed life!

P.S: we'll all know the truth when we die; so hopefully we carry on this conversation, I think everyone goes to heaven.
