Thank you for the response. I knew it would be related to some exposure so that totally makes sense. I am of mixed race as well and have never understood the racism dynamic. Other than that socially most people instinctually will want to feel better or superior to other people and they will hang their hat on anything that they can cling to. And it seems when they have nothing they cling to. They cling the social stigmas of things that they can't control. Because it is a constant to them and it's easy. It's hardwork to improve as a person and admit that we were wrong or wrong in the past and that we need to make a change, so thank you for sharing that with us.

What question do you wish you were asked more often? That you don't asked enough. You mentioned having to change some of your racist views from the military. What exactly spurred that change?
