Do you think it would be worthwile to expand the capabilities of R when it comes to qualitative data analysis?

There are projects like RQDA, qdap, and the text mining packages, but it feels like those approaches should be combined into a more integrated way of dealing with qualitative data.

It feels like the other big players in the field of QDA are still far ahead of R's capabilities at the moment, which is a bit of a pity.

I would love to have something like a better workflow and gui, preferably integrated with RStudio...
