There is a Santa Clause in my rental contract. It allows the landlord to break into my apartment whenever he wants as long as he is dressed as Santa.

I am not sure if there is any use in talking to such people. Their starting point is not based on facts or reason. It is unlikely, if not impossible, to influence their "opinions" by reasoning with them or confronting them with facts.
