I also had lasik - 10 years ago. My eyes are still perfect. The only pain was similar to being in a smoky bar for too long and needing to blink it away quite a bit. That lasted just 2 or 3 hours, then perfect sight:)

And can I add, why are we avoiding infection? Why these areas specifically? What are the consequences we'd be looking at?

Is the Russian metiorite related to the near-miss one tonight? If so, should we expect more, and where? Are we more likely to spot them now with knowledge gained last night?

I'm guessing tbe umbilical cord contains mothers blood as well so wouldn't do.
