Why do I have a feeling that Congress will get wise to us and give us a double edged sword. Like a bill that will give all Americans healthcare but add a surveillance bill to it.

Damn right. I had a friend who had received her GED at age 15, then went to community college for 2 years, then finished up her Bachelors at a University in 3 years. By the time I was done with my Sophomore year at University, she was already getting damn good job.
