I'd posit a very large part of compatibility is physical attraction. I can imagine how you'd use machine learning to model personality similarities, but do you envision something more sophisticated than simply an 'attractiveness rating' to try and predict who'll find each other hot? If not, how will you account for physical type?

Tinder has a great system where they show me a lot of people who are around my attractiveness and I can easily discriminate for a physical type - for example, I might find brunettes more attractive than blondes, so on tinder I can quickly swipe right all the brunettes. How will your system recognise which physical characteristics I find attractive?
