My brother has spent a couple decades working in tv, and the best advice he ever got was from one of the counselors at college, who told him "if you want to work in Hollywood, you should drop out of film school and go work in Hollywood". Sounds like you could have used that advise too. Glad it ended up working out for you!

Bernie, last week an autonomous semi was released into the wild for the first time in Nevada. Millions of trucking jobs will slowly bleed away in the next 10 or so years. This type of automation is going to have an effect on virtually every American industry. As more and more American jobs are replaced by automation, we will see a desperate need for some sort of plan. In other countries, basic income or basic dividends are being considered. What's your opinion on a basic income for all Americans?
