I get Medicaid and can see for free any doctor, PA, NP, or whatever other medical personnel Kaiser Permanente has, get free prescriptions and glasses (but not contacts), have limited free dental which is improving this year to include crowns, and any hospitalization needed. I have been to the ER exactly once since getting it, the EMTs I called recommended I go to the ER for chest pains. They turned out to be caused by esophageal spasms.

Was the horse killed especially for the occasion, and if so, was there anything notable about it? I.e. was it chosen for being a particular color, sex, age, etc.

Do they drink milk from the goats or reindeer? If so, there is the source of sugar. Lactose present in milk breaks down into acid which harms teeth.

I've known many people - middle class for the most part - who used ERs as primary care because they were too lazy to set up an appt with a doctor for their splinter or sniffles, but impatient and entitled enough to want to be seen IMMEDIATELY.
