They guy who designed it disagrees with you.

A criticism of the service, not yourself. In my experience 95% of the time we are asked to attend a patient that requires a Dr (prescriptions required, not housebound, new symptoms etc.) I wish the call handlers would have a definition of the services they are contacting before trying to pass the patient on. At the very least they should know the different capabilities of a Doctor and a Nurse.

On a side note, the rudeness of some of the call handlers is beyond belief. I've had full arguments with 111 about visiting patients that don't fall in to our services area. Every time I answer a call and it's 111 passing a patient over I rest my head on my desk in anticipation of someone trying to get me to send nurses to a patient having an MI 30 miles outside of our service area.

3/10 would not call.

Do you find the pathways accurate? I work for the Out of hours district nursing service and I can't remember the last time I received a referral from you chaps that was appropriate for our service. So frustrating.
