Can they actually try to make the Mac and PC versions work together? I get all kinds of fun formatting problems going between the two.

Mac systems are more relevant now than they have ever been. Additionally with companies like Cisco where you get a mix of PC/Mac users working together it would save significant time and effort. That saved time could lead to increased productivity and by that more profit if someone didn't constantly need to fix something.

If they want people to quit leaving Office for other items like Libreoffice or what have you then making it work the same across all platforms is the only thing that makes sense.
