Damn, that's how you do it, total language immersion. I did Japanese for two years in uni and never got competent at it.

Anyone interested in getting a rabbit should really just go to a shelter imo. You can get young bunnies who are purebred pretty easily and then not have to worry about getting them neutered/spayed because it'll already be done for you. I have two rabbits right now I adopted and they are both what I would consider "fancy". One is a satin dwarf mix and the other is a purebred Polish bun. I've seen netherland dwarfs, holland lops, rexes, flemish giant mixes, Lion heads, Dutch rabbits and other popular breeds all show up at shelters before.

There's absolutely a real argument to be made about this, I for one think responsible breeders should be rewarded for the effort and work they put into supporting their breed and ensuring that healthy, genetically strong dogs are available for families and working homes... however, those same responsible breeders do not sell dogs to pet stores.
People who sell animals to stores aren't responsible breeders, they are puppy mill owners.
