A little bit. There's a bit of a pissing match between Mobile and New Orleans about who started Mardi Gras. Mobile (or someone from there) took out billboards in Nola claiming to be the original home of Mardi Gras.

Correct or not, that's one step away from an open declaration of war to New Orleans.
