A big part of the skyrocketing costs of college is guaranteed government backed loans given to all students regardless of their credit, grades, major, or potential ability to pay it back. Honestly draconian drug policy goes far beyond marijuana. Psychadelic drugs are proven to help with PTSD and other chemical dependency, but research is difficult to conduct in the United States. And don't get me started on anabolic steroids. Exogenous testosterone is actually a fairly effective birth control for men, but god forbid, people might lose fat and gain some muscle in the process. We can't have people getting bigger and feeling better about themselves.
