I worked at a pet store in seattle that sold parrot fish that had “i ❤️u” tattooed on the sides for valentines day. Gross.

Yeah...the owner was real shitty. He would order like 500 and keep them in a 29 gallon tank....more than half would die. And the turtles...oh man this place would get weekly visits from animal control, he got in deep shit for having an illegal fish (snakehead) and they took it out front and chopped it up alive. He literally didnt give a shit. I think the place is still there....i left one day mid-shift wen cleaning the turtle tanks out....55 gallon with a minimum of 25 sliders in it. If anyones interested its on a street that rhymes with shmaroura and it rhymes with bittle bamazon. Gross gross place....

oh and (thinking back on all this I keep remembering more fucked up shit) he used to stage what I can only describe as betting parties for fighting those siamese betta fish...like 10-15 dudes with jars in bags, jars in boxes and I shit you not, jars in suitcases of bettas would come in once or twice a month and they would go in his back room. yelling, fights, all kinds of noises in Vietnamese would be coming outta that place for couple hours. I think they bet on their fish to fuck up other ones. also the place burnt down, all the animals in the whole store burnt or died of smoke inhalation...the appliance store next door was closing down so the dude let him move into that space....it had twice the square footage, thus twice the shittyness.

Also they will fly low over trees with fresh snow on them near power lines after big storms. Keeps the trees from taking out lines.
