I think the entire principle of harvesting the females of a mostly intelligent mammal species, and just disposing of the males like trash, is wrong. But that's just my opinion.

You're certainly right. But cows can definitely display a level of emotion and intelligence not too far below that of pigs; to me it's high enough to make me feel bad about the way their species is taken advantage of. But again, just my opinion based on what I know, I'm not exactly backing this up with scientific papers or anything.

You know, it is possible to campaign for animal and human rights. My beliefs on the consumption of meat do not in any way stop me from raising awareness about human mistreatment or cruelty.

I believe that, from looking at evidence, the meat industry is incredibly inefficient and damaging to the environment, as well as ethically wrong, but I also am against human trafficking and slavery and try to buy my clothes and food from fair trade and trusted suppliers. You can do your bit for whatever cause you believe in...

Congratulations! A great achievement indeed.

A few questions -

  1. How did you each end up working on Voyager?

  2. It's been a long journey, but have you had any near misses/scary moments along the way? Which was the worst?

  3. A phenomenal achievement, but it's just the start. How much longer and further do you expect Voyager to go? Or is that anyone's guess?

Once again well done, keep up the amazing work!
