Who robs a Gamestop, honestly?

Not OP, but a previous service dog trainer. I wish more businesses knew their rights when it comes to service dogs. There is a small epidemic of fakes, and if businesses knew that they can ask two questions to a person with a service dog (1. Is that a service dog? And 2. What tasks is it trained to perform?), they can kick the dog out of their establishment if the handler of the service dog does not answer those questions correctly. They can also kick the dog out if it ia out of control or has urinated or defecated in their business. A surprising amount of fakers will say their dog is for emotional support/depression, which is not a valid answer as emotional support animals are a completely separate entity and are not allowed in public save for airplanes.

Also, I wish people knew that in the US, service dogs do not have to wear any identification, including a vest or an ID. They also don't have paperwork or certification.

I have not trained cardiac alert, but I can give my perspective as someone who has trained seizure response dogs:

Generally when you train the dog to respond, you tell him to go find someone or call the police. So first the dog learns to associate the symptoms of the seizure (from shaking to tensing to making 'tic'ing sounds) to his response, which is to go find someone to let them know the handler is having a seizure. This can be trained, and is called seizure response. What cannot be trained is the next step and it relies on the dog picking up on a chemical change within the body that happens before or during a seizure. The dog will start to associate that chemical change with the seizure, so he will start to respond to the seizure before it happens. About 20% of seizure response dogs turn into seizure alert dogs. The more time and the more seizures the handler has, the more likely the dog will be able to pick up and associate the chemical change and become seizure alert.

Thank you for your empathy! It's refreshing to see in a society where we're told that we need to be on birth control to make sex more enjoyable for our partner.

It depends. Visit r/childfree to find a list of doctors who are willing to perform the procedure regardless of your reasons.
