In what ways do you see things improving, and what actions do you think could be taken to speed it along? And good jobs are great but how do you plan to attract those to Alabama? What incentives do you plan to offer to employers to pay more than the minimum wage so that people who work 40-plus hours a week don't still need to be on some form of welfare?

What are your thoughts on municipal broadband, access to reproductive health services and education as a cost-effective measure for reducing incidences of single parents dependent on welfare systems, and decriminalizing of drugs as a potential cost-saving measure to the taxpayer in the form of a reduction of caseload in the court system? I'm a fiscal conservative while being a social progressive ( as appealing as many of the ideas being tossed around by liberals are on the surface, my concern as a tax payer is being as efficient and frugal as possible). Do you think potentially legalizing marijuana as a fast-track to building up a hemp industry to replace cotton and Alabama's economy would be beneficial? Any thoughts on moves that should be taken within Alabama's energy sector to improve their industry appeal to both companies and consumers?

I just drove cross country from Virginia to move to Seattle. I really hope the state's with the most rural populations see what you're doing and get legislation pushed through to encourage business models like yours. So many of the folks i saw were older. A system where a drone could deliver their medical supplies in all but the worst weather would be a Godsend most don't realize they need.

I think he might be referring to deploying intelligence, diplomatic, and financial assets to maneuver ourselves into a position of influence without having to wave a big stick. A big military is expensive to maintain and even more expensive to deploy. As far as I am aware it would be political suicide on the world stage for us to have completely independent drones operating without a human hand of the controller at all times, simply because everyone is aware of the overwhelming force that we can deploy on very short notice. Our current MO is to avoid looking OP while making sure that our capabilities are exactly that.

What do you think has led to our current situation of it being a toxic environment of simply trying to improve a system that's meant to Serve the People? What do you think could be done to correct it and who do you think are the vested interests that would stand something to lose? Why would they feel that implementing such suggestions to correct the system would make them feel that doing so would be a loss for them? Was there ever a golden age of being able to blow the whistle without having to worry about personal repercussions or has it always been this bad?
