I've actually lived off grid and this guy is a load of shit. Living off grid requires so much work, as in growing your own food, animal rearing, community organizing, and so on... not relying on the society and using the internet you're supposedly detached from. He lives in a rural environment while his wife does not. that's all

What he means by off grid, is rural. He mentions paying an ISP for internet. I guarantee their services and his home are both connected to the local electrical grid, thereby not being off-grid.

What symptoms prompted you to see a doctor?
