In defense of the show writers, they both stated that they weren't written off because of the arrests. Michelle Rodriguez was however getting tired of the show and asked to be written off. Remember they both came back in the flash-sideways so it wasn't like they were fired. The guy who played Mr. Eko (sorry can't remember his name!) was going to be in the final scene at the church but wanted a crazy amount of money for it.

I've been seeing Prairie Farms all over the Midwest, not just Aldi's.
