A couple questions if you don't mind. Due to the boom and bust tendencies of the oilfield what is your endgame plan? If Odessa/Midland busts will you move your family to follow the work? What are your thoughts on the people/culture in an oilfield town? If you're looking for good BBQ in Odessa, Shane's Metal Shop Grill has a good brisket.

This is best money making scenario I'd imagine. I don't know if it's steady. PM me if you want the number of the guy at Cameron who's doing the hiring.

It seems like many studios do everything in house, scripting, animating, hell they most likely even have to get their own coffee because they can't afford an intern. :P

There is something incredibly striking about the visual narrative, and animation is a great medium for telling them. Possibly the best, because of the control you can have over the final product. I'm thinking of some of my favorites, Red Undead, Heart, and even The Maker. (Even though it's stop motion) I literally sent in my CV to a animation studio an hour ago, and hope like hell I get a chance to help on a projects like this.

Congrats on finishing the short! It's been added to my list of favorites.
