My Dad is in the service in the UK as well (your engine looks like the UK models from what I can tell).

I want to travel with my dog, how easy is it crossing boarders or transporting your dog to different countries?

Ah amazing! My Dads station has an indoor set up to train with that. He does a lot of training for the urban search and rescue stuff, can’t think of the right name of..national resilience maybe?
