Damn, I didn't even know that phrase had anything to do with native people. I always heard it in the context of someone being out of their depth. I'll try to phase it out.

What would you say is a good way to spread awareness of native people? The American public school system led me to believe that native Americans were largely extinct, it blew my mind to learn that there are millions in the US today.

Also, what's your thoughts on people who claim a tiny percent of native blood? My great grandmother was a native American, but I never claim it because I never met her and I have no connection to that culture. That's always bothered me when people say they're 1/16th native or whatever.

First off, I think "Appetite for destruction" is the best hard rock album of all time.
