Uncertain of the AMA time again, Sid? It's almost like you're swimming in gum.

Haha. On a sidenote: How often has that expression been used in Spain, Sid?

For those unaware, Marca used it to say that Luis Enrique was swimming in gum, when they reported their (very) biased story of Messi saying no to a substitution. Madrid media created a whole thing out of it despite Messi giving then thumbs up to Enrique which was conveniently left out. Enrique then "responded" with a picture of his office on Twitter which had a whole bag of gum.

There's always room for a sequel, no?

Since Pep's Barcelona it seems like the tribalism of Madrid media, Marca especially, has done everything to paint Barcelona in a negative light. Catalan media does the same but not quite to the same extent.

Florentino always seems like a no nonsense president. E.g. he isn't afraid of suing people left and right. Barcelona's board since Laporta left seems very very laid back / unwilling to protect the team. Pep's new book said as much.

Why do you think the current Barcelona board is unwilling to take these battles with media/madrid?
