Hey there,

Looks like an interesting book! I'll need to check it out sometime. :) As a digital media artist I have a few questions:

  1. How did you approach marketing with your book? Did you start while the book was in progress or after it was finished? Did you have specific audiences you aimed for?

  2. Did you use a Wacom tablet with your illustrations?

  3. What kind of art development schedule did you keep when working on your book?

  4. Any specific quirks you liked when illustrating? Any particular beverage, music, etc?

Currently someone attempting to find work in either the graphic design or computer/IT field. When you started learning to get a job after your snafus, what was your success rates to getting interviews, and how did you manage this? How did you manage to impress companies to actually pay attention to you to want to hire you?

I’m always attracting one genre of woman since I’ve tried to start dating at 19, and it’s been extremely frustrating that rarely anyone else out of this group show me any interest (despite me doing my best to date outside). Despite bouncing up and down in weight, money status and even stages in life (out of high school student, college graduate, workforce person, etc), I always seem to attract obese, Southern women for some uncanny reason (for reference I’m an average sized Indian guy). It doesn’t matter what I do, they always make up a overwhelming portion of who shows interest in me.

What makes it worse is anyone outside that group I can’t successfully date or get their attention, actively or passively.

How do you break a cycle of who’s attracted to you, and find the people that you actually are attracted to/get their attention?
