What do you think about the incident where a mainland Chinese journalist was tied up in the airport and shamed and beaten by the angry protestors until he became unconscious? Later the protestors tried to block the ambulance and prevent him from receiving any medical service. Edit: video link for those who are unaware: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktoVYVdkiD0

Thank you for answering. I agree that the extremist does not represent the whole community. However, one of the five demands is to free and drop charges against all the arrested protestors. Do you think this should apply to the violent protestors as well like those in the video? I’m pretty sure their behaviors are considered as crime in any country.

Not op but I spend half my life in China and half my life in NA. I can tell you with confidence that the beauty standard in China is still drastically different from that of the US. People still prefer thin, lean body type for both men and women. Body types from Kim Kardarshian or Dwayne Johnson are considered “too much” for Chinese beauty standard (or East Asian beauty standard in general).
