I live in Brighton right on the Allston border (if there really is such a thing), and frequently take the 57 bus. Brighton Ave recently has experimented with the right lane being a shared car/bike lane, as opposed to having a designated bike lane. Can you speak on the efficacy of this "test" road, and what furthers plan there are for safer biking in the city?

They're also adding a stop between Yawkey and Newtonville in Brighton, adjacent to the New Balance headquarters (with them assisting with some of the funding). Formerly was named Brighton Landing, now will be Boston Landing, and is scheduled to open late this year. Zone 1A from South Station, as well, so I'd be pretty happy avoiding traffic on the bus or train to take the Commuter Rail in to Yawkey or South Station.

As a followup, do you have any insight as to whether or not this lane share has been successful since it's implementation? Brightone Ave and especially continuing onto Comm Ave has been a dangerous road for bikers.

I think the visibility will be better when the lane is painted, I'm just hoping the many drivers who are unfamiliar with the roads don't treat them purely as bike lanes.

Would you need anyone US-based with an MBA, a background marketing/customer service/customer success, and a big interesting in gaming? I'd be happy to help out with some freelance work.
