How it goes is that Pepsi/Coke lends you a cooler, and in return you have to order x amount of drinks from them each month.
Source: family restaurant.
My family owns a restaurant. For the first few years we had Pepsi. They required us to order 15 cases of drinks from them each month. 1 case = 24 cans/bottles.
We recently switched to Coca Cola. They only required us to order 10 cases from them each month. Once again 1 case = 24 cans/bottle.
We like working with Coke more because our restaurant is small and don't really see a lot of soda. Quantity plays a big role.
And when I was meeting with the person that handles the contracts and stuff, she gave us Coca-Cola brand cups(72) for free(I asked). If I were to buy it from them, it would have been around $40 or so(I have a booklet somewhere) Pepsi didn't give us shit when I asked
