Hooray, glad you now know about it!

In a sentence: 3D tactical combat in the Battlestar Galactica universe; take control of Colonial Fleet during the first Cylon War and resist the rising Cylon rebellion.

Very similar to my writing process.

Fighters are controlled as a squadron, and the number of squadrons you can deploy is determined by the types of carriers you're taking in to the battle. They can also be recalled to their issuing carrier for repairs and resupply, then deployed again to get back into it.

You can recruit COs for your fleets. These officers earn XP with each battle they take part in, and can also be trained and promoted to increase their capabilities. Officers have specialisations, which determine the type of bonuses they provide to their fleets and flagship. My favourite at the moment is the Marine Commander specialisation, which can super buff your defences against boarding attacks.

Yes to both! The battlestars have plenty of firepower to hand out, and they have the ability to deploy flak fields that disrupt munitions and fighters. There's always plenty of bullets and explosions on screen whenever you have a battlestar around!

Thanks for the questions! We absolutely took inspiration from Blood & Chrome, it was actually a key part of the puzzle to figuring out where and when we could set the game. Thanks to some of the plot points of B&C, we were able to place our game firmly near the start of the Cylon War and foreshadow all the things that happen later in the timeline.
