Do you believe in life after death or do the words of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" absolutely express your philosophy?

Is science the arbiter of reality? If so what are some of the problems/limits of adopting that epistemology exclusively?

I can see that, but it is actually Frodo, Aragorn and Gandalf that possess the most Christ like qualities.
Frodo for his sacrifice and bearing the weight of evil on his shoulders. The suffering servant.
Aragorn as the returning king who heals the sick and restores order.
Gandalf--as priest and guide. Encouraging us to be the best we can be.

Would you say that the theory that we live in a matrix (some kind of computer simulation) is a variation of intelligent design creation theory that religious people sometimes present?

Thanks for the response. I was thinking that science as a sole arbiter reduces meaning, art, ethics, value, worth, human rights, personal relationships etc. as unreal and mere relativistic arbitrary constructs. Interestingly, most people see these things as the most important things in life; yet they have no actual reality in a scientific way.
All the best.
