See, I don't think you're understanding what /u/PleasedToBeefYou is asking. What he wants to know is how you are going to get through to the potential voters who couldn't spell the word affordable if you paid them. People who would look at your reply and see nothing but a collection of five-dollar words (comprehensive, critical, flashpoint, re-envision) that they literally don't understand.

Edit: Ok so apparently people are taking my comment to be read as "hurr durr republicans bad, I don't like their politics hurr durr liberals 4evah....blah, blah, blah". Never in my comment, not once, did I mention my political beliefs, nor did I say anything about the voting practices of others. You people are reading waaaaaaaay too much into my comment. I said exactly what I meant and nothing more. The fact of the matter is there are a lot of under-educated people out there that still have the right to vote. And I'm honestly okay with that, really. I don't really care if you're dumber than a box of rocks, by right of living here you should have the right to vote on the people that lead you. The problem I have with this smug schmuck of a politician is that he won't be any different than any other before him and any to be had in the future. He spouts his rhetoric about the A.C.A and immigration without a care in the world that a decent percentage of voters don't even know what A.C.A stands for, let alone what it means to them as constituents. He's doing the standard politico song and dance and I'm sick of it. He should never have taken on such a question in the first place if he didn't intend on answering it which he fucking didn't !!!! Do the people holding the "war on coal" signs generally vote republican? I honestly don't know, I'm not from that state. And I seriously don't care. Vote for whoever the fuck you want. The point I was trying to make is that, in general, voters in this country are woefully underinformed - on both sides of the aisle. And no one, especially the politicians, is trying to change that.

Now let's take a minute and talk about all you assholes that jumped down my throat. You fuckheads decided, without any concrete evidence, that I must be anti-republican. This is an assumption completely without basis of fact. Did I characterize anyone, as anything? No. Did I even mention whether or not I agree or disagree with this guy's politics? No. Is there any question, ever, that a potential representative should ever shy away from (so long as it is relevant)? Hell no. Did I ever call anyone a name? No. Did I ever once disparage anyone else's political doctrine? Fucking no again! You people took one look at what I had to say and immediately judged me without even taking the care to see if you were even remotely correct in your assumptions! So fuck you guys, eat me, and go take a flying leap.

Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty excited about the possibility of this job. I love cooking but I think I love teaching people more, so this could be a best of both worlds situation.

I'm going for in for an interview to a non-guard position at a county prison tomorrow. Basically, I would be in charge of the inmates that cook the prison's food. What would you say is the opinion among inmates and guards of non-guard personnel? How do they get treated by the inmates and the guards?

I'm not asking him to badmouth anyone. I'm asking him to stop talking like a fucking politician, and start talking like a normal fucking human being.
