When I saw him on the Netflix doc it totally threw me for a loop too.

Please atlwast start with giving blood. I'm ONeg, and when I went in to my local donation center 2 weeks ago, I got to talking to my favorite phlebotomist. It broke my heart when he told me they literally ran out of O blood in June and had to turn people away for a couple of weeks.

Giving blood is SO important.

So I've talked about my personal experiencd on here before, but thought maybe I could give some insight to you.

It took me 2 weeks before I reported my harrassment. We were in the middle of a huge project, and my immediate boss was so over whelmed. He was a nice guy, and I didn't want to throw something else onto his plate. When I did eventually tell him, he went to the owners, who then turned around and said to me that they were sorry it happened, they just didn't believe it. I quit.

I put myself through hell for 2 weeks only to be told by the person I trusted to take care of the situation, that he didn't believe me. What happened to me isn't the exception to the rule. It happens more often than you would ever think and it sucks. Looking back at the situation, I would have still quit, but I wouldn't have said anything. It wasn't the memory of some creepy old guy touching my chest that bothered me for months. It was my boss saying he didn't believe it that fucked me up.

I just saw you are in Austin tonight! I wish I could be there, but alas, I will be working til after the event is over. I will have to go by book people tomorrow and check your book out. Have a good visit while you're here!!
