The salt flats are continously changing 24/7/365. As in the actual terrain, which of course is effected by wind, moisture, temperature, etc.

The salt needs to be smooth but not too smooth.

As long as the docs keep writing/pushing scripts, it'll be on the street just like any other drug. There is always less supply than demand, even with heroin prices falling out. And the demand for Oxy is huge. Yeah, a lot of addicts transitioned to smack when they changed the formulation in 2010 but there will always be a market.
