I was furloughed at the end of March and laid off at the end of June. I have a spreadsheet of all the jobs I've applied to from the middle of July until now. 102. 102 applications, 3 interviews, 2 phone interviews and no job offers. It's brutal out here. I'm in Michigan though.

You are spot on, I'm an engineer. It's making me question my whole path :) I think everyone is just hesitant to hire until they figure out what's going to happen.

I too ate solid food a half hour later, Burger King. It was fine. I don't however suggest eating fries.. accidentally stabbed the socket. oops
