Ok I see. I just watched your video, very interesting too. Well I think for full motion tracking and bringing it into 3D we should take as much information as possible. Optical is good to get the information taken by the eyes, especially for the environment, but I think to track our own movement, sensors that give us something like kinesthetical information are essential. Well, I think it would demand a lot of research to create that kind of pants or suits..

Great to hear! What do you think when would this come? Regarding full body avatars, which sensor technology is the way to go for it, is it optical or some wearables or is it a mix of different ones for getting redundancies?

Hello, first I want to thank you that you take the time to answer questions. I'm a sports scientist and specialised on soccer. I know you are focused on hand tracking, but maybe you could think of using this technology for foot movements as well.

  1. How could foot movements be tracked to use them in Magic Leap?
  2. Is the technology suitable to use it on mobile? If not which range do you have to move around?

Thanks for reply :)
