Have you had a hard with knowing you won’t have biological children? If it bothered you in the past, are you at peace with it now? For context, it’s been a challenge for me and I haven’t quite come to a place of acceptance about that myself.

After spending a lot of tears and pain (and money) on unsuccessful medical interventions, I’ve found some comfort in trying to do as good a job as I can at being what a dad should be for my wife’s kids, but I know I’m never going to “Dad” for them, since that guy is still out there on the periphery. It’s hard, but rewarding.
