Mr. Boyle. First off I just wanted to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every movie of yours that I've had the pleasure of watching. In my opinion, Sunshine is simply one of the greatest science fiction movies to date and I think is extremely underrated. The pacing, acting, music, story, special effects, etc...all of it is incredible.

As far as my question(s) go:

Are we going to see a 28 Months Later and will you be returning to direct it?

What was is like directing the opening cermony for the London Olympics last summer? It almost seemed as though you'd have to think in four dimensions when directing something of that magnitude.

EDIT: Man. Sucks my question went unanswered. Aside from writing out before hand and posting it pretty much as soon as this post went LIVE there wasn't much else I could do. But at least I was able to have some fun Sunshine related banter with some other redditors.

Mike Birbiglia has a similar story where he was asked to do comedy for a charity golf event for cancer, I believe. Before he performs, a kid who had survived cancer went on stage to tell his story and the whole room was crying. Said it was the absolute worst act he's ever had to follow.

I am utterly confused. Why on earth do you not want to make Hellboy 3? There's such a clamoring for it, and you clearly have an amazing concept in mind, so why not make it? Especially with Ron Perlman chomping at the bit as well?

What about George Lopez?

Not sure what I enjoyed most about this. Your letter, your story about meeting Al Gore, Al Gore's response to this comment, or the picture with your (presumably) sister leaning against Al Gore's leg looking like a boss.
