Do you ever see yourself getting back to writing about evolutionary biology?

I've read "The Ancestor's Tale" cover to cover twice, and it seriously changed the way I think about evolution. Not that I didn't accept the theory before, you just have a way of expounding on it. I'd love to read something like that from you again.

What of the argument in today's NYT op-ed that there is no such thing as a purely "defensive" weapon and that any aid would be insufficient to make Russia reconsider its current aggression in the area? Do you buy the argument that defensive weapons could raise the cost of military action sufficiently to deter Russia?

When did your writing career really start getting off the ground?

I had the chance to meet the man (Henry Singer) who made "Falling Man" into a documentary film while I was studying in London. He said something I'll never forget about not enjoying his 20s as much as he thought others did because he couldn't figure out what to do with himself. He eventually found filmmaking. I also remember reading something you wrote very recently about struggling to find your way. (Does this ring a bell? Can't for the life of me remember what it was.) As a listless 20-something, I'd really like to believe I still may come into my own.
