You have an issue with that theory though. People like to see an aggregate of all their new content. If video hosting spreads out, they no longer have any way to see what's new.

I guess you can go back to RSS feeds, but that hardly seems like an upgrade.

Just to debunk that. It's pretty easy to install malware on any computer you have physical access to. You can't actually "hack" into it remotely. At least I don't know of any 0-days floating around.

To my (admittedly basic) understanding insurances are quite technical agreements. The nice thing about universal health care is that it's universal. You don't have to read the fine print or worry about the details.

The most low level reason that i prefer health care to insurance is that insurance is always trying to fuck you for more money. Health care has no incentive to.

Here the doctors just do what they deem best, there are no other motives. They don't get paid more to "keep me coming back". Their only motivation is getting me out the door as fast as possible, and making sure that I don't come back. I like the peace of mind i get from knowing that my doctor has no financial gain from not curing what ails me.

Maybe Reddit users aren't the target market? Or maybe the people complaining wouldn't buy it anyway.

Much like gamers, the vocal minority is not the market.
