I read many of your comments with great interest. I have a deep interest in the Okinawa Campaign, and have a couple of quick questions for you.

Based on what you've written - specifically, that you were on the island for approximately 6 weeks - I'd place you somewhere near Wana Ridge with the 1st Marines by 15 May 1945. Could you describe the circumstances surrounding your evacuation? Were you wounded, was your unit rendered combat ineffective, etc?

What has your group done to help expose situations whereby incompetent physicians are quietly shuttled between institutions without their incompetence ever truly being exposed? For example, "weak" reference checks and/or a lack of the previous institution's willingness to truly inform the next institution of the physicians problems?

Do you ever wish that instead of attending that Prison on the Hudson, you had gone to a nice respectable institution like the one in Annapolis?
