how about the NY assault weapons ban? The fact that overnight I was turned into a criminal, without any chance for public input, is appaling

Also the "safe storage" of firearms basically requires my 4th ammendemt right to be violated for it to be enforced. So how is it anything more than feel good legislation that won't effect anyone
