Shouldn’t that just mean that it would default to the more restrictive of the two classifications in the interim? What’s the logic in not only pulling it from distribution, but actually making it a fineable offense to sell? Does anybody know? (not really directed at you, just in general)

But there is nothing in there that would stop the ACLU from taking a position on the 2nd Amendment as an individual right, even if they were unwilling to dedicate resources toward it b/c there are other, better funded orgs doing the heavy lifting on that one issue. As far as a blanket statement of "govt can and should regulate firearms", you could say the same thing about speech, or assembly, and I would have the same answer for all three: to the absolute barest necessary degree, and you better have a damn good (and concrete) justification. I have been a long time supporter of the ACLU in almost all of its endeavors (Tinker v. Des Moines was a personal favorite), but taking a position of the 2nd as a collective right just seems inconsistent with the rest of the ACLU's advocacy (not to mention the actual scholarship around the bill of rights). I know some of the state CLU orgs have already changed to an individual rights position; any chance of a change at the national level?

Did you ever have someone do a "storage pawn", was there a policy on those, and how did you feel about it? By a storage pawn, I mean someone pawning something, possibly for an unusually low amount, not because they actually needed the loan but so they could simply have short term secured and insured storage. I've heard about people doing this, especially for guns and jewelry (maybe they're a kid at college, or are going on vacation and don't have a safe), but have never actually met or known someone who has.

I don't know why, but after everything they've been through, I kind of want to see a travel show with CP, Steveo, and Knoxville where they just go around the world and treat themselves to the best spas and relaxation destinations. Russian banyas! Hot mud baths in Greece! Actual Swedish massages in Sweden! Call it "Self Care With These Three Idiots".
