Is death truly a routine consequence though? What is the number of deaths caused by a police officer each year compared to amount of times people are charged with resisting arrest each year?

This is a good way to tell if a child is choking. If the child is crying or screaming, their airway is unrestricted.... it’s when they are silent that there is truly an issue.

Same goes for adults.

100% this, being CPR trained is great. Also knowing how to use an AED and where AEDs are located is even better.

Just renewed my CPR/AED/Blood Borne Illness/First aid, thats where I learned those percentages.

AEDs are stupid easy to use, taking a class will make you confident in your use of one.
