Adding an addiction on top of whatever else they are treating ends does not help that person in the long run. Temporary benefit is not worth the long term damage.

They are telling you up front that these product cannot be proven to do what they claim and they are too impatient to do proper studies to pass FDA regulations. They may even come back and respond with some nonsense about how it is more important to make money help people than it is to prove that the products are efficacious.
