It kind of just kills the mood. If they're laughing, especially at their scared friends then I think it's still great. I like to know they're enjoying it either way. But if they're talking shit to you then it just kind of sucks lol

I got the cool experience to be one of the first 2 makeup artists for a haunt when it first opened and stayed for like 4 years. I also acted in almost all of the scenes at one point or another.

Really it was always just wild to me of all the big men I'd scare. I'm a 5'3 girl so it's great lol.

I can't really say it was me personally. Since usually scenes have multiple people, but I have had someone shit in my scene once.

It was really fun! Up until some issues with the owners. I did makeup (so had to come in hours earlier than anyone that didn't get the longer makeup) and was on my feet all day hustling to get all the makeup done, then was expected to scream, run, and jump until 2 am. It was tiring after a while, especially since despite working longer I got paid the same as everyone else.

Not OP, at my haunt we have a few people with radios that are behind scenes and they'll go through and warn the actors in the next scene and give a few details of the person/group. Then we just made sure to keep our distance when we spoked that group.

If it happens multiple times then they may be escorted out, but generally we didn't have to. It was usually some drunk asshole.

When a situation is dangerous, emergency, or someone just won't fucking move. Sometimes people will just stay in your scene and look around as though there wasn't people behind them. You'll try to get them to move in character, but sometimes you gotta break it to deal with the weirdos.

Generally you try it on your own, but you can always ask for help. If you're just not scary they'll gently tell you and have someone else help you, or try to find a part where you'll fit in better.

I'm sure I could scare in the day time, but probably not as much than at night.
