How did in the world did you make this transformation? Are you some sort of mutant butterfly pretending to be a human? Gotta be one of the greatest success stories in the history of mankind.

How in the world do you properly parse fits files? I do research for the Astrophysics department at UCI and I can't find a reliable pattern in fits files. I tried using CFITSIO, but nobody follows convention. Is this due to lack of CS knowledge in the astronomy world? Or something else?
