How did you come across and decide to work such a job?

Followup question: Were there any requirements/experience needed for the job? Also, do they train you?

The handle/knob for my bathtub has been leaking for months now. I tried replacing the knob with a new one, but it still leaks. Any idea how to stop it? I notice that the leak reduces when I turn the knob right or left.
